Description:

  • Build the web GIS experience for analysts to explore imagery and understand spatial relationships using TypeScript and React.
  • Develop a reusable map canvas and layer system with MapLibre and deck.gl, enhancing the existing Sentinel frontend.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience with TypeScript and React in production interfaces.
  • Substantial experience in web mapping or geospatial visualization with tools like MapLibre or deck.gl.
  • Strong understanding of frontend state management, asynchronous data loading, and performance profiling.
  • Familiarity with WebGL concepts and geospatial fundamentals.
  • Clear communication skills in English and eligibility to work in Germany.
