Remote Information Security Engineer II

Description:

• Seeking a dedicated Information Security Engineer II focused on blue team security operations and security engineering.
• Independently monitors, triages, investigates, and responds to information security incidents.
• Engineers, implements, and maintains information security technologies to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Collaborates with the Manager, Information Security on investigations, digital forensics, governance, and policy initiatives.
• Promotes a culture of information security across the organization.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in information security operations and/or security engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 security products and core infrastructure technologies (Windows, Linux, TCP/IP).
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) and security technologies (vulnerability scanning, firewalls).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, digital forensics, and offensive security concepts is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and obtaining relevant security certifications within six months.
