Remote Intelligent Manufacturing, Data and AI Engineer, fluent in English

Description:

• The R&D Intelligent Manufacturing, Data, and AI Engineer position is a remote job based in Athens, Greece, or Luxembourg.
• The successful candidate will work on projects funded by the European Commission and national research frameworks.
• Responsibilities include managing and implementing EC-funded IT projects, developing new manufacturing technologies and solutions, and designing intelligent production lines.
• The role involves working collaboratively with a team of experts with different backgrounds.
• Additional expertise in European-funded R&D projects is appreciated.
• The position requires initiative, flexibility, and responsibility, with a focus on software aspects of intelligent manufacturing production lines, robotics, and IoT applications.

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science with a background in Robotics, Data, and AI engineering, preferably with a postgraduate qualification at the PhD level.
• Hands-on knowledge of robotics and AI open-source libraries like ROS, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc., is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working directly with technical teams and ideally 2 years in National or European research programs in ICT.
• Strong background in software design and development, software development lifecycle, and ICT project management.
• Experience in production engineering, robotic applications, IOT, AI for manufacturing, and industrial requirements.
• Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and oral.
• Good interpersonal, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.

Extra skills that will be considered as an advantage:
