Remote IT Security Engineer

Description:

• Independently own IT Security delivery for a portfolio of client engagements.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders and communicate priorities, risks, and progress.
• Assess and improve security configurations across identity providers, device management platforms, and corporate SaaS environments.
• Perform hands-on technical implementation and guide client teams through changes.
• Build and maintain a prioritized IT Security roadmap based on risk and resources.
• Participate in Security Architecture Reviews as a subject-matter expert.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with identity platforms (Okta, Microsoft Entra, Google Workspace).
• Practical knowledge of identity and access management (SAML, OAuth/OIDC, MFA).
• Experience with identity integrations and automated provisioning workflows.
• Hands-on device management experience (MDM configuration, security baselines).
• Ability to assess environments, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage multiple client engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working independently and navigating ambiguity.
