Remote Java Android Developer (LATAM)

Description:

• Build and maintain native Android applications using Java.
• Translate product and design requirements into polished mobile experiences following Android best practices and Material Design guidelines.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of native Android development experience in Java with published apps or significant project experience.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio IDE, and Gradle build system.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack libraries (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, WorkManager).
• Proficiency in integrating REST APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp with error handling.
• Experience with local data persistence using Room or SQLite.
• Working knowledge of Firebase services for notifications, analytics, and crash reporting.
• Proficiency in English.
