Description:

  • We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Junior QA Engineer.
  • You have the option to work from our Thessaloniki or Athens office, or remotely.
  • Your tasks will include analyzing requirements and translating them into clear, structured test cases, applying strong analytical and business understanding.
  • You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and system engineers to ensure software quality.
  • You will execute manual and automated test cases to validate functionality, usability, and overall quality of applications.
  • Documenting and reporting test results, defects, and improvement suggestions in a clear and structured way using bug tracking tools will be part of your responsibilities.
  • You will conduct performance testing using appropriate tools to identify bottlenecks and assess system stability under load.
  • Basic security testing using OWASP ZAP (and similar tools) to detect vulnerabilities will also be required.
  • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and practices.
  • Staying curious and proactive in learning about QA methodologies, performance testing techniques, and OWASP security principles is expected.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent work experience is mandatory.
  • You must have the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
  • An excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are essential.
  • Nice-to-have qualifications include knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, SoapUI, and JMeter.
  • Exposure to security testing concepts, with hands-on experience using OWASP ZAP or similar tools, is preferred.
  • An interest in cybersecurity and a proactive mindset toward identifying vulnerabilities is a plus.
