Description:

SOSi is seeking a Kubernetes Engineer to support mission requirements for a scalable, federated data ecosystem for a DoD customer.
The role involves bridging operational gaps for real-time information sharing and mission-tailored analytical capabilities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field, or five years of equivalent experience in Kubernetes administration.
Experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, troubleshooting containerized applications, and implementing service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Strong skills in Kubernetes orchestration, container networking, Helm chart deployment, and CI/CD automation.
Preferred certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
