Description:

Lead the design, evolution, and operation of Stellic's data platform, including data pipelines from ingestion to presentation.
Build and maintain customer-facing data systems that extend the platform's value to university partners.
Ensure scalable and reliable data processing with guarantees around correctness and consistency.
Design data models that balance standardization with flexibility for diverse requirements.
Ensure compliance with regional and partner-specific data requirements.
Drive improvements across the data platform to support new use cases and increased scale.

Requirements:

8+ years of data engineering experience with previous technical lead experience.
Deep experience in designing and operating data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and aggregation layers.
Strong expertise in building scalable data processing systems with guarantees around correctness and consistency.
Experience in designing data models that accommodate varied requirements.
Strong understanding of data correctness, lineage, and validation in complex systems.
Familiarity with compliance for regional and partner-specific data requirements.
Experience with customer-facing data systems or data products is ideal.
Clear communication skills for collaboration with product, design, and customer-facing teams.
