Remote Lead Engineer - Security

Description:

• Lead security discovery workshops with clients to map security requirements across systems.
• Translate architectural requirements into actionable security user stories and implementation roadmaps.
• Design and document cloud security frameworks tailored to client environments.
• Establish governance and security processes for AI, and define maintenance and security guidelines.
• Oversee security preparation for applications, including physician-patient interaction portals.

Requirements:

• 6-12 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or architecture.
• Proven understanding of cloud API security, identity access management, and data protection.
• Strong experience with vulnerability scanning and code verification tools.
• Exceptional written communication skills for compliance documentation.
• Experience in Healthcare Technology and HIPAA requirements is highly desired.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and HITRUST audit frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of cloud ecosystems, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) are preferred.
