Description:

• CoverGo is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to drive the technical vision, strategy, and execution of their enterprise-grade insurance platform.
• The role involves hands-on full-stack development, leading a team of engineers, mentoring peers, and integrating AI-driven capabilities.
• Responsibilities include leading the end-to-end development lifecycle of the SaaS platform, providing technical leadership, defining technical strategy for AI integration, and collaborating with product managers and designers.
• The engineer will drive architectural decisions, establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and promote continuous improvement.
• The position requires proactive identification of technical debt and scalability bottlenecks, championing security and compliance initiatives, and staying updated with the latest trends in software development.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have demonstrated leadership experience in a technical role, successfully leading and mentoring engineering teams in complex SaaS applications.
• A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with Full Stack development using Node.js and related technologies is required.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies such as Node.js, Vue.js, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, and TypeScript is essential.
• Solid experience in building and deploying AI-driven applications or features using APIs and ML models is necessary.
• A strong understanding of AI concepts such as NLP, recommendation engines, chatbots, or intelligent automation tools is required.
• Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with experience in architecting scalable applications is needed.
• In-depth knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies and experience with testing frameworks is required.
• Candidates should have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• A thorough understanding of web security best practices and experience in implementing security measures is necessary.
• Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and proficiency in cloud infrastructure is required.
• Experience with Nest.js is a plus.
