Description:

Lead the development of a production-grade lane and route network mapping stack for autonomous vehicles.
Architect and implement advanced neural architectures for object detection, classification, segmentation, and more to enhance mapping capabilities.
Drive feature development from inception to deployment, including architecture design and mentorship of junior engineers.
Own the data strategy for mapping, including data curation and active learning pipelines.
Develop metrics for evaluating mapping accuracy and consistency across diverse environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate autonomy goals into software requirements.

Requirements:

Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
7+ years of experience in developing and deploying ML/DL models for mapping or computer vision.
Expertise in computer vision, lane-level topology, and HD maps.
Proficient in ML/DL frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, and strong programming skills in Python/C++.
Proven leadership in technical roadmaps and mentoring engineers.
Strong communication skills for leading technical discussions.
