Remote Lead Power Systems Engineer, Data Centers

Description:

• Lead the design of power architecture for data centers with loads of approximately 50MW.
• Ensure power infrastructure meets availability, resiliency, and safety requirements, integrating distributed energy resources (DERs).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Systems engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in power system design for mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years of experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or photovoltaic (PV) projects preferred.
• Strong expertise in high-reliability substations, MV/LV distribution, and protection/control systems.
• Proficiency with power system analysis tools and deep understanding of electrical codes and standards.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%.
