Description:

  • Join Hugging Face's Xet Storage team, responsible for the storage system behind the platform with over 200PB of ML & AI assets.
  • Contribute to the open-source project xet-core in Rust and design features for the Xet Storage backend in a dynamic, remote environment.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in building and scaling distributed systems, storage, or networking infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in a low-level systems language, preferably Rust, with experience in Python, Typescript, Go, or C++.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-trust, low-process environment and handle ambiguity.
  • Passion for creating robust and scalable systems for engineering and science teams.
