Description:

Role: Mainframe DevOps Engineer / SCM Migration SME
Location: Remote, Contract position
Focus on large-scale application migration and modernization on IBM Z, converting legacy SCMs to DBB/Git/IDD, and building CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

Strong z/OS, mainframe development or systems programming background.
Proven installation, migration, and troubleshooting experience on IBM Z.
Hands-on scripting with Groovy and YAML.
Strong Git expertise and pipeline debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience.
Ability to diagnose and resolve DBB/Git/IDD conversion issues.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 8+ years mainframe experience, 4+ years in consulting roles.
