Description:

100% remote position for a Mainframe Programmer specializing in ZOS, CICS, and web services.
Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying REST APIs using z/OS Connect.

Requirements:

Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition and API development.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON payloads, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Experience integrating APIs with CICS, COBOL, Db2, and IMS applications.
Ability to understand COBOL copybooks and mainframe data structures for JSON mapping.
Knowledge of z/OS concepts including RACF/SAF security, regions, SMF, and WLM.
Experience with API testing and troubleshooting.
