Description:

  • We are looking for a part-time QA Tester to support the development of our products.
  • The key responsibilities include performing end-to-end functional testing of web applications, which encompasses account registration, login flows, file uploads/downloads, dashboard navigation, and form submissions.
  • The tester will also test secure file transfer workflows, including upload, share, download, expiration, access controls, and notifications.
  • Verifying user interface elements such as responsiveness, layout consistency, error messages, loading states, and empty states is essential.
  • The role requires using Chrome DevTools to capture and document JavaScript console errors, failed network requests, slow API responses, CORS issues, and session/cookie problems.
  • Testing cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Firefox, Edge at minimum) is necessary.
  • The tester will create detailed bug reports that include a clear title, steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behavior, screenshots/screen recordings, browser console output, and severity level.
  • Retesting previously reported bugs after fixes are deployed and maintaining a testing log tracking features tested, issues found, and resolution status is required.
  • A minimum of 1–2 years of professional QA testing experience on web applications is needed.
  • Proficiency with Chrome DevTools and experience writing clear, structured bug reports with screenshots is essential.
  • Good English communication skills are required, as written reports must be clear and detailed.
  • The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A reliable internet connection and a modern computer with up-to-date browsers are necessary.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have 1–2 years of professional QA testing experience on web applications.
  • Proficiency with Chrome DevTools (Console, Network, Application, Elements tabs) is required.
  • Experience writing clear, structured bug reports with screenshots is essential.
  • Good English communication skills are necessary, as written reports must be clear and detailed.
  • The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps is required, along with a backup internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.
  • The primary device must be a desktop or laptop equipped with at least an Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor, and a minimum of 8 GB RAM.
  • A backup device must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor and must be functional during power interruptions.
  • A functioning webcam and a noise-canceling USB headset are required.
  • A quiet, dedicated home office space is necessary, along with a smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
