We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our fast-paced, globally distributed engineering team.
This role will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and cloud-based applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation frameworks, and Agile processes, with experience working in distributed environments.
Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native application testing is a significant advantage.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
The candidate will collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to understand requirements and design comprehensive test strategies.
The role involves owning the QA process across the software development lifecycle, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
The engineer will identify, log, and track bugs through resolution in coordination with engineering teams.
Mentoring junior QA engineers and contributing to QA best practices across the organization is expected.
The candidate will work closely with CI/CD pipelines to ensure early detection of issues.
Responsibilities also include maintaining test environments, staging configurations, and data management strategies.
The engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and help mentor junior QA staff.
Developing a strategy and leading the adoption of automation initiatives for functional, regression, and integration testing is required.
Ensuring testing aligns with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST) is essential.
Requirements:
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in software QA, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.
Experience with designing, developing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing is required.
A strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit) is necessary.
Experience with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) is essential.
Solid experience with version control systems like Git is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
The candidate must have a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
