Remote Media Software Engineer, Speech (All Levels)

Description:

• Cantina is an innovative platform founded by Sean Parker that allows creators to build and interact with AI-driven social bots.
• The media team is developing a high-performance platform for real-time and streaming media.
• The Software Engineer will enhance the audio and video infrastructure for real-time interactions in the Cantina app.
• Responsibilities include improving the Cantina media platform, enabling user interactions through voice and video, and building on WebRTC-based frameworks.
• The role involves collecting and analyzing system performance metrics, participating in design and code reviews, and collaborating with team members to deliver new features.
• The position is open to engineers of all experience levels, from new graduates to senior engineers.

Requirements:

• A BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary for this role.
• Experience with C or C++ programming languages is essential.
• Strong fundamentals in computer science, including knowledge of data structures and concurrent/multithreaded programming, are required.
• Familiarity with system programming concepts, such as network protocols, memory management, and distributed systems, is needed.
• Object-oriented programming and design skills are a must.
• A genuine interest in solving challenging engineering problems is expected.
