  • CTEC is seeking to hire a Mid-level Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team.
  • The role involves developing, documenting, and executing manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality and data accuracy.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with business analysts and development teams to ensure appropriate test coverage, managing defects using tools like Azure DevOps, and creating automated test scripts.
  • The engineer will perform accessibility compliance testing and assist in performance and integration testing activities.
  • The position requires generating test reports and communicating testing status to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Participation in Agile/Scrum ceremonies is expected to support continuous delivery.
  • The engineer will contribute to improving QA processes and works under moderate supervision.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least three to five years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or related roles.
  • Experience in developing and executing manual and automated test cases is required.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is necessary.
  • Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for test case management and defect tracking is essential.
  • Candidates should be familiar with SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience in performing Section 508/accessibility compliance testing using relevant tools is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, is important.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
