Remote Mobile Principal Software Engineer

Description:

• Lead the mobile team at Dscout, evolving it for an AI-first platform.
• Architect mobile applications and contribute to backend services using Python.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to solve business problems and enhance user experience.
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement in processes and architecture.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in mobile software engineering with Principal/Staff-level scope.
• Proficient in iOS and Android development, with experience in system architecture and backend API design.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and designing SDLC around them.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring engineers.
• Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS architectures, agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
