Description:

Xenon7 is seeking a strong Node.js + Python engineer with solid experience in building backend services, APIs, automation, and data-driven features.
The role involves working on a modern platform using Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native tooling while collaborating with a distributed engineering team.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining backend services using Node.js and Python, designing and optimizing REST APIs, microservices, and backend workflows.
The engineer will work with PostgreSQL for schema design, queries, and performance tuning, develop automation scripts, integrations, and backend utilities.
Collaboration with product, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver features end-to-end is essential.
The role requires writing clean, testable, maintainable code following best practices, troubleshooting production issues, and improving system reliability.
Participation in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning is also expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3–7+ years of backend engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (Express, Fastify, NestJS, or similar) is required.
Solid Python experience in automation, APIs, scripts, and services is necessary.
Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL are essential.
Experience with microservices, API design, and distributed systems is required.
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) is necessary.
A good understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices is required.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
