Description:
You will help deliver solutions to satellite-based systems that position and connect anyone and anything, everywhere.
You will assist in observing our planet and optimizing the use of our planet's resources, as well as contributing to spacecraft that discover the universe.
Your functions will include defining and monitoring the whole embedded software development cycle.
You will define software specifications from system specifications.
You will define software architecture.
You will identify, prioritize, and assign software activities following Agile methodology.
You will coordinate with other engineering teams such as system, hardware, firmware, and validation.
You will lead the elaboration of technical documentation.
You will participate in the software development milestones with the customer.
You will also participate in bid proposals.
Requirements:
A degree in software engineering, telecommunication engineering, industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, mathematics, or another similar technical discipline is required. An advanced degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in real-time embedded software development is required.
Knowledge of the V development cycle is necessary.
An understanding of a whole system, including embedded software, is essential.
Experience in Agile methodology is required.
Knowledge of the ECSS process is necessary.
Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Spanish or French is an advantage.
