Description:

  • Seeking a Data Center Network and Structured Cabling Engineer with 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing network solutions for large data centers.
  • Role involves designing and delivering infrastructure optimized for AI workloads, collaborating across various teams to realize OpenAI's infrastructure vision.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in physical network infrastructure and structured cabling systems for large-scale data centers.
  • Strong understanding of data center network topologies and optical connectivity.
  • Expertise in industry standards such as ANSI/TIA and BICSI.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel frequently.
