Description:

  • Capital Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a Platform Engineer to support high-impact civic tech within the federal government.
  • The role involves designing and implementing prototypes and proof-of-concepts for evaluating new or emerging technologies.
  • Responsibilities include analyzing benefits and risks of new technologies, providing development support for their adoption, deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs.
  • The ideal candidate should have a solid background in software engineering and experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS or related cloud environments.
  • Applicants must be US Citizens and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
  • Candidates should have 5-6 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of Git, Docker/Kubernetes, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines is essential.
  • Experience working within a cloud environment such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is necessary.
  • A working knowledge of databases and SQL is required.
  • Candidates must possess a problem-solving attitude and be able to quickly adapt to new projects and technologies.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
  • Nice to have skills include people management experience and experience working with Harness.io.
