Description:

Capital Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a Platform Engineer to support high-impact civic tech within the federal government.
The role involves designing and implementing prototypes and proof-of-concepts for evaluating new or emerging technologies.
Responsibilities include analyzing benefits and risks of new technologies, providing development support for their adoption, deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs.
The ideal candidate should have a solid background in software engineering and experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS or related cloud environments.
Applicants must be US Citizens and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
Candidates should have 5-6 years of experience in a relevant field.
Strong knowledge of Git, Docker/Kubernetes, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines is essential.
Experience working within a cloud environment such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is necessary.
A working knowledge of databases and SQL is required.
Candidates must possess a problem-solving attitude and be able to quickly adapt to new projects and technologies.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Nice to have skills include people management experience and experience working with Harness.io.

The position offers remote work options, with hybrid roles specified in the job post.
A competitive compensation package is provided, with an estimated salary range of $125k to $155k annually.
