Description:

  • Seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer – Data (SDE-3 / Staff) to manage a large-scale shared data platform.
  • Role focuses on building and operating foundational systems for product and engineering teams, requiring strong distributed-systems expertise and production engineering skills.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of software or platform engineering experience with demonstrated SDE-3 / Staff-level ownership.
  • Proven experience owning a shared data platform in production.
  • Strong expertise in distributed-systems design and software development using Python, Java, Go, or Scala.
  • Experience in batch processing, streaming, data ingestion/CDC, and platform operations.
  • Ability to improve reliability, scalability, performance, and developer self-service in production environments.
  • Strong individual contributor with the ability to influence architecture and drive engineering initiatives.
