Description:

  • GovSignals is a startup focused on improving government acquisition processes using AI.
  • The Platform Engineer will manage infrastructure and security across commercial cloud, FedRAMP High, and IL5 environments.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or security engineering roles.
  • Deep Kubernetes experience in production, including cluster operations and GitOps.
  • Experience building infrastructure for other engineers.
  • Secure by default mindset with knowledge of hardened images and least-privilege access.
  • Nice to have: experience in regulated environments (FedRAMP, HIPAA), Postgres operations, backend TypeScript, open-source infrastructure work.

Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $160,000 – $230,000.
  • Equity in a well-funded startup.

  • Work location: Brooklyn Navy Yard office, 3+ days a week in person.
