Description:

Octus is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to design, develop, and lead scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
This hands-on role includes management duties such as mentoring and providing technical leadership, focusing on robust data infrastructure for data platforms and automation initiatives.

Requirements:

Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including SOLID design, modularity, and scalability.
Expert proficiency in Python and advanced SQL skills for data pipeline development and optimization.
Proven experience with AWS cloud-native data pipelines and data warehousing technologies.
Experience with Terraform or similar IaC frameworks and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
8+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development, with technical leadership experience.
