Description:

Montera is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to oversee the architecture, security, and governance of all networking across corporate IT, critical-infrastructure OT, and guest networks.
The role includes managing Montera’s public IP strategy, firewall architecture, and customer data access models in collaboration with the Principal Controls Engineer.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of experience in designing and operating data center networks in hyperscale or regulated environments.
Expertise in RIR/ARIN address application, ASN/BGP, and enterprise IPAM at multi-site scale.
Strong knowledge of firewall, segmentation, and secure remote access across IT and OT environments.
Proven ability to define customer demarcation and data-access models in secure settings.
Experience with network automation and configuration management using Git-based workflows.
