Remote Principal Software Engineer, AI Tools and Security (US West Coast)

Description:

• Lead the technical direction of the MCP Gateway and related services in AI Tools & Security team.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Security to create developer-friendly frameworks and APIs.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience with production-grade, distributed systems.
• Proven technical leadership and ability to drive architectural vision.
• Expertise in cloud-native systems and distributed computing.
• Experience in building secure, resilient backend services with reliability engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Go or another modern systems language (Rust, Java, C++, etc.).
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals in multi-service environments.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and LLM APIs.
