Description:

Workana is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead technical direction and architecture for a fast-growing technology company in the formalwear rental industry.
The role involves mentoring engineers, designing scalable systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technical initiatives.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in enterprise-scale software development.
Current role as Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, Architect, or similar.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Python, Django, REST APIs, GraphQL, AWS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, and authentication solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor.
Must be located within 3 hours of the Eastern Time Zone (EST).
