Remote Product Security Engineer

Description:

• Own and shape product-level security across backend services, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
• Lead threat modeling and security reviews, identify systemic risks, and drive long-term security improvements.

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience as a backend or platform engineer.
• Strong ability to read, write, and review production code across multiple backend languages.
• Experience designing and operating backend APIs and infrastructure components.
• Practical experience securing cloud environments and service-to-service communication.
• Solid understanding of secure API design and transport security.
• Ability to reason about real-world attack surfaces and failure modes.
• Clear communicator who can collaborate across teams.
• Full development lifecycle experience with security embedded in development.
