Remote SAP Data Engineer (Freelancer)

Description:

• Mactores is an AWS modernization firm helping companies migrate data, applications, and AI workloads to AWS efficiently.
• The SAP Data Engineer will manage the SAP side of a modern data pipeline for enterprise customers using SAP on AWS, focusing on data extraction and loading into S3 and BW/BW4HANA.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with SAP HANA extraction tools (SLT, ODP, CDS views, SDI, SQLScript).
• Strong understanding of SAP table structures in functional areas like FI/CO, MM, or SD.
• Proven ability to design delta and CDC patterns for incremental data loads.
• Proficiency in ABAP for building custom extractors.
• Experience with SAP BW/BW4HANA data loading and modeling.
• Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3, Parquet, and IAM.
• Strong English communication skills for customer interactions.
