Remote SAP Solution Architect

Description:

• The SAP Solution Architect will lead solution architecture for a S/4HANA based transformation program, focusing on business processes, data & analytics, applications, and technologies.
• The role involves defining the Solution Architecture in challenging business transformation projects, including overall solution design, integrations, and data migration.
• The architect will ensure that technical solutions, platforms, and systems meet business requirements and future needs.
• Responsibilities include developing and implementing an enterprise roadmap for SAP S/4HANA and related solutions, as well as leading the ERP non-functional roadmap and integration requirements.
• The position requires provisioning digital capabilities to enhance and transform the business and enable new business models.
• The architect will provide leadership and technical solutions for areas such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, digital platforms, Cloud Integration, API Management, AI, Advanced Analytics, and IoT.
• Ensuring a well-structured solution architecture framework that delivers on time, within budget, and meets quality standards is essential.
• The role includes adherence to solution governance and enterprise architecture principles and standards.
• The architect will lead and participate in governance forums, including Architecture Review Boards and Program Boards.
• Active participation in business development and pre-sales activities, including proposals and responses to RFPs and RFIs, is required.
• The architect will manage, monitor, and report on solution architecture topics, risks, and areas for improvement, and will liaise with 3rd party providers and vendors as needed.
• The position involves managing internal consulting resources, 3rd party provider resources, and contract resources.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have extensive work experience in a consulting company, specifically in large-scale SAP transformation programs.
• Proven delivery capability for large-scale SAP based transformation programs is required.
• Practical application of project management life cycle principles and methodologies, such as SAP Activate, is essential.
• Experience with solution and enterprise architecture frameworks and models, such as TOGAF, is necessary.
• Candidates should have considerable SAP solution architecture experience and familiarity with typical solution challenges in large-scale transformation programs.
• Demonstrated skills in executing an Agile-based design and delivery approach are required.
• Ideally, candidates should have experience in process analysis and business process design approaches.
• A solid understanding of major data objects and SAP enterprise structures is necessary.
• Candidates must have a solid understanding of a range of SAP applications, including S/4HANA and related technologies.
• Experience in delivering SAP using a value-driven transformation approach is required.
• Superior client interaction skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients are essential.
• Candidates should possess the ability to inspire and influence senior business management and stakeholders.
• Superior problem management and moderation skills are necessary.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills are required.
