Description:

Ramp is seeking a founding Privacy Engineer to build a privacy program that supports the company's growth while earning customer trust.
The role involves building privacy-focused application primitives and integrating them into existing products.
The engineer will partner with other engineering teams to design and deploy inherently privacy-centric and secure solutions.
Responsibilities include improving, implementing, and deploying data retention and anonymization strategies across the environment.
The engineer will track shifting legal standards in collaboration with Ramp’s Privacy Counsel and update systems and processes accordingly.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of experience in building software is required.
At least 2 years of experience focused on platform, privacy, and/or security is necessary.
Candidates should have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow in their craft.
The ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions is essential.
