Description:

Seeking a software engineer specializing in security and infrastructure to enhance Tailscale's product security team.
Responsibilities include designing security controls, improving security features, auditing infrastructure, and supporting engineering decisions with security expertise.

Requirements:

Expertise in cloud platform security (e.g., AWS) and multi-cloud networks.
Familiarity with container security, orchestration security, and web security fundamentals.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Go) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
Prior experience in infrastructure security, security operations, threat modeling, or digital forensics.
Knowledge of operating system internals, networking protocols, and ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert during security incidents.
