Remote Senior Application Database Administrator (SQL Server)

Description:

• The Senior Application Database Administrator is responsible for designing, supporting, and improving cloud-based databases for modern applications.
• Collaborates with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure databases are reliable, scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in application databases or DBA roles, including cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in at least one relational database platform (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Hands-on experience with cloud-managed database services and modern architectures.
• Advanced skills in SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting production systems and making independent technical decisions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across diverse teams.
