Description:
- Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for Tempo, a distributed tracing backend for Grafana Cloud.
- The role involves enhancing Tempo's capabilities, achieving operational excellence, and evolving it into a platform for Grafana's observability products.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in delivering complex, multi-month technical projects.
- Significant hands-on experience with distributed data systems, including ingestion, storage, and query execution.
- Proficiency in Go or similar systems languages (Rust, C, C++).
- Strong operational mindset with experience in production services and SLO management.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a remote environment.
