Remote Senior Backend Engineer, Rust

Description:

• Join Offchain as a Senior Backend Engineer to build core technology for Arbitrum, a leading Ethereum scaling solution.
• Work on Nitro, the node software that enhances Ethereum's throughput and cost efficiency while maintaining compatibility with the ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Rust engineer with a background in building production systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, infrastructure, and performance-critical applications.
• Ability to manage projects from design to implementation and operation.
• Interest in runtimes, execution environments, WASM, and systems programming.
• Security-focused mindset to identify potential threats in code.
• Nice to have: Experience with WASM, familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, and open source contributions in Rust.
