Description:

Join the Core Gateway team as a Senior Backend Developer, focusing on both maintaining a Perl-based payment gateway and building a Python microservices platform.
Work in a fast-paced environment ensuring system performance, scalability, and reliability in financial transactions.

Requirements:

5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Python skills (AsyncIO and FastAPI preferred).
Experience with Perl or willingness to learn and work with legacy Perl code.
Solid experience integrating third-party APIs and understanding webhooks, callbacks, and retry policies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred), Docker, and AWS services.
Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, message queues).
Strong English communication skills for collaboration across teams.
