Remote Senior Data / Analytics Engineer

Description:

• Own and evolve data architecture across ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers with a centralized cloud data warehouse.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines ensuring reliability, completeness, and accuracy.
• Develop validation frameworks to monitor data quality and identify issues.
• Write and optimize complex SQL for analytics and reporting.
• Design data models for financial reporting and operational analytics.
• Partner with Finance for accurate reporting on revenue and costs.
• Build dashboards for leadership decision-making.
• Identify and resolve data issues quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Support integrations between core business systems for consistent data.
• Implement AI-driven workflows to enhance data accessibility.
• Automate reporting processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into actionable insights.

Requirements:

• 5–10+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
• Strong experience with GCP and BigQuery, including SQL optimization.
• Experience with modern data ingestion tools, preferably Airbyte.
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling, familiar with AI tools for development.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and working with finance teams.
• Experience building dashboards in modern BI tools.
• Familiarity with AI workflows and structured datasets for LLM agents.
• Experience across multiple business domains (ops, marketing, finance, product).
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate independently.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
