Description:

Seeking a Lead Data Platform Engineer to lead the design, modernization, and evolution of enterprise data platforms based on Informatica IDMC and Databricks Lakehouse.
Act as the main technical reference for clients, Enterprise Architects, and engineering teams in large-scale data transformation projects, especially in highly regulated industries.

Requirements:

Over 10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or Enterprise Data Architecture.
Strong practical experience with Informatica IDMC and Databricks Lakehouse.
Experience leading modernization and migration projects for enterprise data platforms.
Advanced knowledge in Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Quality.
Experience designing cloud-native architectures on Azure and/or AWS.
Advanced knowledge of Lakehouse Architecture, Medallion Architecture, and Data Mesh.
Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
Advanced English (C1) or higher, capable of leading technical meetings and communicating with international clients.
Experience in highly regulated industries such as banking, financial services, or insurance.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (CDMX – GMT-6).
Employment type: Contractor.
Location: Latin America.
