Description:

Proton is developing an AI operating system for wholesale distribution, aiming to modernize a $9 trillion industry.
The Senior Data Engineer will own and enhance the Data Layer, responsible for data pipelines and architecture that support all Proton products and AI functionalities.

Requirements:

7+ years of hands-on experience as a data engineer with proven production ownership.
Strong programming and SQL skills, with the ability to build efficient pipelines and data models.
Experience with cloud data warehouses and ingestion from various source types (file-based, event/streaming, API).
Familiarity with data-consistency issues and hands-on use of AI coding agents.
Excellent communication skills and a startup mindset; English proficiency at C1 or above.
