Remote Senior Data Engineer

• The Senior Data Engineer will lead the creation and execution of data models and strategies that support the product.
• Responsibilities include owning data sourcing pipelines, designing and implementing ETL solutions, providing technical leadership, driving operational efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Candidates must have significant knowledge of the crypto industry and at least 4 years of hands-on experience in data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Typescript, Go, or Python, along with strong SQL expertise, is essential.
• Experience with data warehouses like Timescale, Snowflake, or BigQuery, and familiarity with DevOps tools is required.
• Hands-on experience with Solana and building ingestion pipelines is highly desirable.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have significant knowledge of the crypto industry; mere interest is insufficient.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with data modeling, schema design, data operations, and data warehousing is required.
• Proficiency in Typescript, Go, and/or Python is essential, along with strong expertise in SQL, ideally with Postgres, dbt, and Hypertables.
• Deep experience in creating data warehouses using Timescale, Snowflake, and/or BigQuery is necessary.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and solutions such as Docker, CI/CD, and AWS is required.
• Experience in crypto, web3, startup, or incubator environments is preferred.
• A background in designing, building, and managing microservices is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with Solana ingestion pipelines and decoding transactions is a significant plus.
