Description:

Lead the foundational infrastructure for data at Jane, focusing on data strategy, governance, and access.
Own end-to-end data infrastructure projects, partnering with analytics and product teams to enhance decision-making.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with production data infrastructure in a SaaS or data-heavy environment.
Strong SQL skills and knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns, schema design, and performance troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, infrastructure-as-code tools, and modern data technologies like Apache Iceberg and Snowflake.
Experience with database replication and change data capture using Kafka, Debezium, Flink, or Spark.
Proven track record of managing infrastructure projects from design to production.
Excellent communication skills for technical discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have: experience with Ruby on Rails applications.

Competitive salary range of CAD $121,600 to CAD $190,000, with most new hires starting at CAD $144,400.
