Remote Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d) - Tieto Tech Consulting

Description:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and solutions tailored to business needs.
• Implement and optimize robust data pipelines using modern frameworks like Databricks.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, including containerization and orchestration.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Monitor and ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of data workflows.
• Stay updated with trends in data engineering and apply innovative approaches.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable data solutions and integration interfaces.
• Strong expertise in data modeling and experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred).
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with a consulting mindset and customer-centric approach.
• Solid software engineering skills, including experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in German (C1 level) and English.
• Valid certifications in Databricks and Microsoft Fabric are a strong advantage.
