Remote Senior Data Engineer

Description:

• Seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Ab Initio and Snowflake for enterprise-scale data integration and data warehouse solutions.
• Role involves working in a large-scale Azure data environment, supporting high-volume ETL/ELT processes and complex data pipelines.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio development.
• 4+ years of experience with Snowflake development and architecture.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, and query tuning.
• Strong experience with Ab Initio EME / Metadata Hub and version control.
• Knowledge of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modeling, and Data Vault concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting (KSH/Bash).
• Understanding of ETL/ELT patterns and large-scale data movement.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes, including Git.
• Familiarity with Azure-based data environments.
• Knowledge of healthcare data domains (claims, membership, providers, health plans).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
