Description:

  • Tala is an AI-native credit infrastructure company focused on providing credit access globally.
  • The Senior Data Engineer will build and improve data infrastructure for analytics and business intelligence across Tala's markets.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in backend or data engineering, with 2 years in Python.
  • Proven experience in building and operating production-grade data pipelines, with knowledge of CDC and stream processing technologies like Kafka.
  • Strong proficiency in Apache Spark and experience with data lakehouse architectures.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD tools.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and collaborate with teams.
