Description:

Wheelhouse is a revenue management platform for the flex rental space, processing massive amounts of data to provide clients with a competitive edge.
Seeking a Senior Data Engineer to manage and optimize daily data ingestion pipelines for over 14 million listings, ensuring reliability and scalability of data infrastructure.

Requirements:

5+ years of Data Engineering or Backend Engineering experience with high-velocity datasets, and 10+ years overall engineering experience.
Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL and AWS Aurora, with strong programming skills in Ruby (or similar language).
Experience with job orchestration frameworks (Resque, Sidekiq, etc.) and AWS cloud services, including infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD.
Proven ability to design efficient data models and solve performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.
Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

Competitive salary range of $156,000 to $180,000, with cash bonus potential and equity.
