Remote Senior Data Scientist - Ads Marketplace & Platform Optimization

Description:

• Seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist for the Ads Data Science team to optimize a growing advertising marketplace.
• Role involves working on auction dynamics, pricing, targeting, relevance, and marketplace efficiency using large-scale data and advanced modeling techniques.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied Statistics.
• Strong experience with marketplace platforms (ads, ride-sharing, e-commerce).
• Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics (auction systems, pricing, supply/demand).
• Proficient in statistical modeling, machine learning, and experimental design.
• Experience with large-scale data processing (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, BigQuery).
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with large relational datasets.
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or R.
• Experience with A/B testing and causal inference models.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence product decisions.
