Description:

  • Senior Database Administrator responsible for building and supporting mission-critical database systems during Business Wire's digital transformation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams to guide best practices in database administration and automation.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of hands-on Oracle database administration experience in a 24x7 environment.
  • Software development experience with Java, React, Typescript, Python, Node, Go, or similar.
  • Experience with full database lifecycle management, enterprise data dictionary, and ETL processes.
  • Understanding of Unix operating systems.
